Cabela's offers many amenities, including an excellent RV park. The park is free to use and has many amenities to make your trip easier. There are dog kennels, full hookups, as well as a huge horse pen. This is a wonderful place to take your dog for a few days of fun in sun.
Although the campout isn't for the faint of heart, this is one of the best places in the country to go when you're on a tight budget. This is especially true when you are traveling with pets. Pet kennels can be rented for a nominal fee. The facility also offers a cleanout of your vehicle and water. This is especially true if you're visiting during the winter months when the weather isn't as conducive to hiking, biking, or boating.
Although the big green house and the awnings may be a little outdated, there are many top-notch amenities. A mini-museum displays a variety of items from the past. The interactive game is available to children. In all, this is a great RV park for the weary traveler and even has full hookups for those who don't have their own hookups. The only downside is the stifling heat and noise - especially when the refrigerator trailers are running all night.
Cabela’s has many great reasons to visit, including the opportunity to camp in the park. However, the real fun begins the moment you get out your vehicle. There's a huge wild life display to drool over, as well as the aforementioned miniature museum, and a number of other attractions, including a great selection of outdoor sports gear.
