Mountain River Family Campground, Newland, NC is a wonderful campground for those looking for peace and quiet near the Blue Ridge Mountains. The campsite has a variety of amenities including a recreation hall with games and a game room, and a dog park. There are also public washrooms and laundries. Picnic tables and firepits are available at the campsites. You can enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and fishing from the campground. It is also close to Pixie Mountain (the Mile High Swinging Bridge), and the Beacon Heights Trail. The campground is ideal for a fall vacation.
